What is your name and your current occupation?
Subhash Pawar,currently I am working as a rigging supervisor/Technical Head in Animation.
What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation?
As being Bachelor of Chemical Engineer ,before animation i spent couple of years in supervising the Processes of certain chemical units it was very tough experience working in water treatment plant to manage certain functioning areas like RO, filtration and functioning of pumps etc.
What are some of your favorite projects you’re proud to have been a part of?
In animation I am very much proud of leading rigging team for
us based animation TV serial word world,Little engine,MBC and feature film Alpha and Omega,Indian Feature Film Mai Hoo Super Hero.
How did you become interested in animation?
from my childhood,I was fascinated about the art of Flicker book ,as i am very much interested in technical area so I am here in Technical.
Where are you from and how did you get into the animation business?
I am from Mumbai ,India.once I got news that a good friend of mine shifted from media marketing business to animation field.
i was also interested in animation, so i asked for help from that friend, he trained me in rigging on maya software.
What’s a typical day like for you with regards to your job?
I joined my first job and my boss given me assignment on realflow software which was very new to me, and i did that assignment very carefully and within deadline, so my boss appreciates my work and dedication.  that was a typical day for me.
What part of your job do you like best? Why?
At the time of crest animation studio I did Prop Spaceship Rig which is fully automotive rigg animator is very happy because he only has to put start and end key.and that Rigg was approved in single take.
What part of your job do you like least? Why?
Being in animation i always kin to be work lot for VFX area.but got very least time to work on it.
What kind of technology do you work with on a daily basis?
On daily basis we work on action of character and find out solution on complexity of rigg.creating MEL,Python scripts for speedy work.
What is the most difficult part for you about being in the business?
Searching for new projects and managing production specific standard is most difficult task in business which i feel.
In your travels, have you had any brushes with animation greatness?
In this of my animation journey some of the best friends of mine who always stand back of me to raise my standard.
without their help it would never be possible to me.
Describe a tough situation you had in life.
Next day was delivery of project ,all things were going well and at the end moment got n cloth simulation and rendering
problem to fixed this i spend a lot time because single frame render get 3 to 4 hrs. and ultimately i got solution to fix it.
and that solution give about 5 sec. per frame.
Any side projects or you’re working on or hobbies you’d like to share details of?
As a lot of experience in mentoring coaching classes students,over 10 years.I tought Maths and Physics
i always like to share my ideas and learn from others new ideas.
Any unusual talents or hobbies like tying a cherry stem with your tongue or metallurgy?
Mentoring junior and thereafter extracting work specific standard is always please to me.
