Werewolf update

Aftter reviewing my design I tried to tweak it a bit and I'm glad I did. Anyway, here's a small update to what he looks like. As you can see from the comparison with the last post, I have added a bit of detail. A few things have been chaged. For one, my daughter said that he "needed" pants and that it was freaky that a werewolf who was once human was running around naked and what would happen when he turned back to a human. SO I added the pants. Not sure how it will deform yet though as he's really wearing pants. In other words I made some actual geometry pants that he wears instead of making his legs into pants. I guess we'll find out when Jason rigs him.
Another thing I changed was to make his legs longer. They were too short and stubby and they had no volume to them. They were just short and thin. No self respecting werewolf wants bird legs ya know? I think it look s better this way albiet a bit more realistic. I'm hoping he'll still blend in with Poltergoose's world anyway but if not I guess I can always remodel him more cartoony. I love modeling so I'd be willling to do it if need be. I have to let his design sink in and see them together before I decide. I think it will be fine though in the long run.
Finally, I got rid of those ape-like longish arms. I don't know what I was thinking but I fixed it now and I also gave his arms a bit more contour.

I had originally started modeling the Blendshapes ( the things that make him be able to talk) when I noticed there was a lack of vertices in his mouth which would allow him to make the finite mouth moves needed to get him to speak. Once you start Blendshapes, you can't really change the main model anymore because the Blendshapes (which are rerally deformed copies of the original) then do not have the new changes and when you invoke the new mouth you've made for him all the changes you did to the original head disappear as well as chaging his mouth into the new position. Make sense? Anyway, so I really had no choice but to ditch the Blends that I did and start them over. It worked out well because I added mroe detail to him and stuff that will help him deform better anyway.

Hi. I'm using Firefox on an XP system. Can't see any images, only broken tokens. I have visited here in the past, and this is the first time I've seen this problem. Has some site maintenance gone wrong or something?

Hmmm, I use Firefox as well and I can see the images as I post this email. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what your problem is. Did you happen to try it via Interent Explorer? Does it work that way? If so it's something to do with Firefox. If not then it must be either your connection or my server.

I've had problems with it as well and although my friend Harry swears by it my brother refuses to use it. Just chalk it up to the pitfalls of a free browser I guess.

Anyway, please let me know if you see it happen again and feel free to comment on anything you see here good or bad and visit often!
