Studio1908 is a new independent production studio specialising in animated content. Our clients are looking for high quality original animated video for communications, marketing, advertising and entertainment purposes. Existing clients include Beiersdorf (Nivea), The Holiday Inn and Centrica (British Gas).

Animators at Studio1908 can enjoy creating content in animation styles that they love and are most confident in producing (including 2D, 3D, motion graphics, stop motion, mixed media, illustrative etc.). By showcasing a 30-60 second sample of their specialist style to our clients via the Studio1908 portfolio, our clients can select the animator they would most like to have working on their production alongside the Studio1908 producers, copywriters, designers, voice over artists and composers.

Your role will involve working closely with the Studio1908 team in a “virtual” capacity from your home or your own studio space. For every project you are awarded you will be required to build graphics, storyboards and animatics along with the animated content to the supplied creative brief.

Applicants must also be reliable, hugely self-motivated, have great creative vision, pay exceptional attention to detail and have solid communication skills. Knowledge of trends and advances in technology in the animation industry is advantageous. The ability to work closely with a project manager to a supplied brief whilst meeting tight deadlines is paramount.

On average, animations will be approximately 90 seconds in length however you may be required to create longer animated content and fees paid to you will reflect this.

This is an ongoing casual position. To apply, please email animate@studio1908.co with a covering letter and online examples of your original animation work. If we do feel that you might be a good fit for the Studio1908 team we will contact you with information on how to complete the full application process.
