Andreas Deja has an interesting post up about the animation process behind the scene above from Lady and the Tramp which while it was animated by Frank Thomas, both Milt Kahl and Iwao Takamoto went over the scene for ultimate drawing appeal. Iwao Takamoto if you remember was a very large part of Hanna Barbera’s style.
My last post about Japanese artists showing off their workspaces got me to thinking it would be cool for animators around the world to do the same. What are some of the crazier jobs you had before getting into animation? I never had any crazy jobs just boring. I would use a temp agency to get work and all they had was office jobs and the only thing I am capable of doing in an office is answering the phones. Very boring.

Chamber Maid (ALWAYS TIP THE CHAMBERMAID WHEN YOU STAY IN A HOTEL!! one of my very first animations jobs, Jonny Bravo(Hanna Barbera), was an awesome show! Rugrats (Klasky Gsupo) was a great one.My Gym partners is Monkey(Cartoon Network) . Most recently 1st season of the Looney tunes show was rally great gig, and turned out fantastic !..I mean i am really proud of most of projects i was on ..
